How to eliminate errors in writing in Accounting?

Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Mathumitha and I have been studying Accounting and Management Technology for two semesters at Ahuntsic College. This is a program that leads us to different career path such as in marketing, accounting, finance, administration and even more.

I am sure that nobody wants to make errors in their writing. I certainly don't. Sometimes, we all need a proofreader to make sure that we didn't make mistakes in our writing, right?

I know that I'm not the best student in English, but I am better than before.

I can proudly say that I improved a lot in English, and I am still trying to improve.

My goal is to demonstrate how to check your writing mistakes and correct them using the Virtual Writing Tutor.

The Problem

Let me explain the problem, an accountant needs to send emails to his senior or even his clients. So, obviously it should be professional, and he can't make mistakes in it.

If you don't do it in a professional way, without any mistake, you can make a bad impression to your senior.

Imagine that an employee sends a work which included writing about something, and he sends the work without correcting the mistakes. When the employer sees this work, he wouldn't be happy about it, and he wouldn't have a good impression of that employee.

I know that it could be really difficult and even more when English is not your first language. But don't worry about it because there is a solution for that. In the next few minutes, I'll show you how to solve this problem.

The Quest

First, open your browser. Type this URL into the address bar and hit enter. If you typed the URL correctly, you will see this page.

The Solution

Now I'll show you how to solve the specific problem I mentioned before. Imagine that I have to write an email to my client. I have to make sure that I don't make any mistake. So, before I send the email, I could check my writing here by writing it in the text area. For example, I could write '' Hello miss Sarah, I hope you are doing well. I am writing to let you know that I am curently working with your tax return but there is some missing informations.'' Now, if I click in the check grammar button, it will automatically detect the errors, and if I scroll down it will give me some suggestion to correct it.

The Conclusion
